Deck Warranty: Lifetime Structural + 5-Year Workmanship

B&B Decks Lifetime Structural Warranty

A deck should be built once—and built right. That’s why B&B Decks backs the decks we build with coverage on two levels: a lifetime limited warranty on select structural framing components, and a 5-year workmanship warranty on our installation and craftsmanship. Together they give you long-term peace of mind in your investment.

What Our Lifetime Coverage Means

Our lifetime limited warranty applies to select structural framing components—for example, TimberTech aluminum framing and Owens Corning structural products—protecting against defects such as rot, corrosion, splintering, or failure under normal use. This structural coverage applies to the original homeowner and may be transferable in some cases; ask us for the specifics on your project. (Lifetime coverage is scoped to these structural components—it is not a blanket lifetime warranty on all labor.)

Our 5-Year Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind how your deck is built with a 5-year workmanship warranty. Coverage depends on the type of deck: composite decks receive a 5-year labor and materials warranty, and new wood decks receive a 5-year labor-only warranty. This covers defects caused by improper installation—such as loose or uneven boards, structural instability, improper railing or stair attachment, and framing errors. Your decking materials are also covered separately by the manufacturer’s warranty (for example, Trex and TimberTech, commonly 25 years up to lifetime depending on the product).
